Hi Friends! Yes, I am still alive & well, 2022 has just been off to a busy start. We are 4 weeks in and have already honeymooned in Mexico, spent a weekend in Indy, celebrated my birthday, and watched the Bengals win 2 playoff games. WOW! Although hectic, January has made me excited for all that is to come in 2022.
First stop of 2022, an amazing week spent in Playa Mujeres, Mexico. Sam and I had a great honeymoon which included trying some new food, drinking a little too much, and some beautiful weather. Don’t worry, a big post with all things Mexico is coming soon.
January 17th, my birthday! I have decided 27 is going to be my year. I am focusing on my mental and physical health this year, it’s about time. I am focusing on doing the things I not only enjoy but also want to do. I have already seen improvement in my daily life by focusing on putting myself first, GO ME!
This year also brings officially becoming a Johnston. I started the name change process, finally. With covid, many offices are closed and I have to mail in all required documents, which stresses me out to the max. But so far, things have been working out. FIngers crossed..
Lastly, this month we had a great weekend trip to Indy with my brother and his girlfriend. We stayed in an Airbnb in downtown Indianapolis and did a self guided brewery tour. We had such a great time, although it was freezing, and can’t wait to return. We had some amazing beer and saw lots of cute dogs, what more could we want?
Oh, how about a Bengals second playoff win? That’s right, the Bengals won another playoff game. WHO DEY! During our Indy trip we got to celebrate another playoff win with several other Bengal fans. Anyway.. who wants a blog post about our favorite Indy breweries we visited?
Who honestly knows what 2022 has in the books but can’t wait to enjoy every moment of it. So many fun things planned already and more to come. In the comments, drop what you are looking forward to the most in 2022.
